Don't know about the troll thing but probably has limited experience with modern 3 and 4 stage converters that are being installed in many RV's. I would think that close to half the RV's out there have 3 stage plus equalize charger/converters. Many of them are part of a inverter/charger unit. Many are also 100 amp plus. Maybe he has an older RV with a Magnetek or something. There were a few points of truth in his narrative. Interesting first post.
Go to sears or Canadian tire and the vast majority are simple 1 or 2 stage chargers and at very low output current levels.
