I drained my battery to about 30% tonight , charged it back up and documented the time , the amps tapering , volts , and temperature.
I also found a manual for my battery which said to bulk charge and then absorption charge for about 20 minutes so the cells automatically balance themselves .
In my chart the temperature of the battery went up a little about at the 20 minute mark they talked about.
The amps were tapered down to about 45 amps at that point.
It looks to me that when you reach 45 amps is a good time to stop charging.
I also read that you can tell that you reach a full battery when the volts read 14.4 volts.
I did a experiment and charged the battery until the volts got up to 14.4 volts .
When I reached 14.4 volts the amps had tapered to 3 amps.
Quite a bit different then lead acid.
No need to ever charge that long , I just charged to 14.4 volts as a experiment .
