Back when I first got an un subsidized smart phone, being a later adopter in 2014, I cared about the battery, somewhat.
When I noticed it needed charging more often two years later, and saw the price of a new battery, I quit caring.
$7.73 every other year is hardly gonna make me stress whether I charge it to 80% and discharge to only 20%.
But its battery, and sdhc card are easily accessible.
The confusion/delusion so readily apparent in this thread, is just one reason why I'll stick with AGM for now, and when I do dip my toes into lifepo4, it will be without the need to ask questions.
Agreed batteries for phones or tablets are fairly cheap. I replaced the one in my Galaxy Tablet S3 6 months ago, $45 and roughly an hour to do it. Batteries are just consumable components of life.
