as the neutral and ground should be separate in an RV.
Correct...They are separate in this installation.
But another question......In a camper, should the ground buss bar from the converter be connected to the campers ground? In my camper there is a large copper wire connectected to the copper gas lines and to one of the tie downs that effectively grounds the camper to the truck. The ground from the 12V battery is grounded here. Should the 120V side be grounded here also?
