All depends where you live and do most of your camping. If we lived and camped in the south we would have a bedroom AC. I would purchase a "smaller unit".
I live in upstate NY and do most of the summer camping in the northeast. There are a few times when a second air would be nice. When we purchased the RV we had a fantastic fan installed in the bedroom. It is variable speed, thermostat controlled and reversible. Works for us.
