I thought of that. Might try that. Trying for the manual extension. Found the slide-out controller box on the floor under the bottom dresser drawer (narrow ones) -- is that 12v? Could I check those wires with the multi-meter? That might tell me if it's on line or if there's a loose wire or fuse issue. (for from slides, Alpenlite poeple, the controllers/fuses are under the range behind the big drawer).
The manual says a few things in order to manually open the slide. I'm going to copy that info here for anyone who might need the info in the future who doesn't have the manual:
1. Turn off the on/off switch or key (if so equipped) I don't have one (2001 Stonecreek)
2. Locate the slideout electrical controller. For version 1 unplg the six pin wiring harness from the controller. For version 2, which I have -- it's labeled with motor 1, motor, 2, fwd, reverse etc -- remove one of the motor leads...motor 1 or motor 2... from the controller.
3. Locate the motor. It will be mounted to one of the slideout rails.
4. Rotate the bracke lever on the backside of the motor counter-clockwise (looking from the rear of the motor) about 1/8 of a turn to the released position. This will release the brake that holds the room in place.
5. The room is now free to move.
Now I have to figure out how to get to the motor. I'm guessing it involves opening the bed and somehow removing some panel inside there. ?
