The motor was under the bed. There was no brake that I could find but through the cutout where the motor was I saw the basement of my rig so I went under and looked up and found the bottom of the motor. never noticed it before. There is an inch cut all around it and it goes right up under my bed platform which explains why my bed is always freezing in cold weather. So I will be insulating that from now on. (!) On the underside of the motor there is a pin with a tiny crossbar. Turned that with the crank and the slide slowly rolled out. This was just inside the front storage door. I am suspecting the switch (button) on the wall or the slide controller at this point. There's no ground anywhere near those where I can properly test the connections Not sure how to do that without a proper ground. But at least the slide is out. Instructions said to release the brake first but there was none to be found so I just started cranking and it went right out.
