Best friend traveling with Dometic fridge issue

Once again I am requesting assistance from the experts but this time for best friend who's on the road.

2001 Dometic Americana 3 way in a HiLo. Runs great on electric when generator is running or plugged in but will shut off when swithed to gas after 20 minutes up to 6 hours. Back on electric it will run fine again but back to shutting off when switched to gas. :h

Any ideas?????

    A bad thermocouple will prevent the gas from flowing. I am ass-u-ming that the refrigerator has one somewhere.

    a frig needs 12volts , all the time weather on gas or electric sounds like a low battery

    Dirty gas system. Could be the burner is sooty and a good brushing would help or it might need to be disassembled a bit so that he can clean the spider/spider web out of the pin hole in the orifice. Either way, it sounds like the gas delivery is insufficient and the fridge shuts off.

    Or, do his lights work? If his battery is borderline dead, no 12v will result in no cooling even on propane.
