Best hot/cold water pipe leak detection?

Can you recommend a really precise water pressure leak detection device? Even with a pressure reducer in the water line I worry there could be very minor leaks that could cause unseen damage later and I would like to monitor the pressure variations.

    They used to make a small inline device with a clear window and ball- shut everything off and if the ball moved at all there is a leak. They may still be around.

    I think you're overly concerned and worrying about nothing.
    If your water pump is not cycling on and off when no water is being used, it's holding pressure.

    I would be more concerned about roof leaks.
