Best option for TV Viewing in the desert?

We plan to spend our 3 months winter vacation in a Tucson desert cg where there is no cable TV and the signal by antenna is reported to be poor. We do love TV in the evening and watch the three major networks. We have cable at home, so we are wondering if we have any solutions? We could buy a portable satellite, but then what else do we need....a contract with Dish or DirectTV? Can you get one for a few months?

    Dish pay per month or, smarter, dump cable buy either dish or direct for home and take it on the road with you. Then all you need to do is wire your RV, setup a portable dish, connect up and your ready.
