Better Shower Control Valve???

True it is plastic and a RV one but it works for me,I also turned it over like one of the reviewers did and it worked.

I have the one mentioned above. not sure I like it better than one with seperate hot and cold. reason is that in a typical rv shower with all the room, not, it's to easy to bump the handle and change the temperature. much easier to turn than a typical house single handle faucet.

Not gonna happen. You have alternatives, they just mean work.

The problem is that a Moen, Delta, American Standard, etc home style shower control does NOT have a shower hose take off attachment. Instead, the water is diverted to the shower head through pipes in the wall.

I was hoping for RELIABLE, FUNCTIONAL high quality drop-in replacement, not a plumbing job. I CAN re-plumb it. I don't want to.

This is. The thing behind the wall that allows hot and cold water to enter the shower. The junk RV versions are replaceable with good stuff.

Although it is still plastic, this one is better quality than all the others I looked at. Has 1/4 turn cartridges instead of washers.

The OP has made it clear he wants a better shower FAUCET.
