Using lots of water to flush helps a lot.
I built my own wand. I havn't seen the Costco wand for cleaning gutters. The RV wand at Walmart is worthless. I have been using my home made wand about 30 years and it works very well for me.
I used about 30" of 1/2 inch dia copper pipe. solder a cap on one end. Install a ball valve and hose fitting on the other end. On the end with the cap I drill two 3/16" diameter holes in the side of the cap, one slightly above the other. You will have lots of water pressure coming out of those holes. I rotate it slowly in the toilet with black tank valve open. (I keep grey water closed while doing this) That pressure will clean everything off your sensors.
If you bought your RV used it may take several cleanings to get those sensors clean again depending how PO cleaned the black tank.
