Shorter the drop the more likelihood stuff will collect if NOT using enough water when flushing

These are the answers. Whenever solid waste (including just TP) is in the toilet bowl to be flushed, FILL THE BOWL TO JUST BELOW THE RIM BEFORE FLUSHING. That volume of water will carry the TP right past the "splash shield."
