camper was ok for 2 days in the driveway, walked in side camper. fridge light is... check fuse on outside 12 camper battery, try new fuse it blows out. ok turn off all 120 volt breakers, thinks that might have something to do with it.
blow another fuse,
pull all 12 volt fuses in the panel ,,blow another fuse,,
un plug fridge 120 volt..blow another fuse
i'm lost on what to do ,
no 120 power to the camper, all 12 volt fuses pulled, but still blow another fuse.
only have 1 day till trip.
looking for help.
notes
it has not rained in 5 days,
it ran for 2 days then problem. never had a problem with this the camper.
lost on why it's blowing fuses.
Sounds like a short to ground, on the positive wire between battery and converter.
Disconnect battery and shorepower, and follow that positive wire to the converter. It may go through a junction box under the trailer. Check for pinching, chafing, signs of sparks, etc. Inside the junction box (if there is one) look for loose connections, signs of sparks, corrosion.
Put the fuses back into the fuse panel, connect shorepower (not the battery), if 12 volt systems work, that eliminates coverter as the problem.
