I'm the OP of the 15 page thread and while I didn't buy one, I took looked one over at HF and I too, am impressed.
I too, will be interested in how it performs, short term and long term. I know one thing and that is HF used the 212cc 6.5 horse engine in the unit and their 6.5 horse engine for me runs flawlessly. I've had one on my pressure washer for a couple years and it starts first or second pull every time, uses no oil and lives in a not too nice of atmosphere, pressure washers get abused a lot.
In my humble opinion HF has a winner.
As an aside, I too had a Yamaha Inverter for almost 10 years and sold it. Yamaha and Honda's are overpriced but 12 years ago, the choice was very limited.
Not today.
I'd tell you good luck, but I don't believe you need that. I believe it's a reliable unit at a fantastic price point.
