Go online. Find a good 120vac fan. 200cfm or higher.
Mount it alongside the base of the generator pointed up. An all-metal EB Pabst brand fan is pretty durable. Thousands of hours without complaint. With the generator running you'll never hear it.
We use those Pabst fans in the semiconductor industry, from small muffin to 8" on our remote power transformer boxes some pulling 100,000 watts.
