And a big reason that it's quieter is because it's bigger. As an apples-to-apples noise test, this is totally invalid. A valid test would be against an eu3000i, not an eu2000i. As a noise-per-dollar spent test, the HF generator stomps the eu2000i. AFIAK we haven't seen any power quality or surge capability tests yet. If the HF generator proves to be long-term reliable, it's a game changer. We'll know in a few years.
The Pred is bigger and quieter and much cheaper.
