I guess we lucked out a bit when we bought our laptop computer.
We just bring our laptop along with us on RV trips. It has a 17 inch HD widescreen, excellent built-in stereo speakers, can be powered from a 12V receptacle, it can play DISH channels live but delivered over the Internet instead of satellite, it's disc drive can burn CDs, play CDs, burn data DVDs, play standard DVDs, run all PC software, and play Blu-Ray DVDs ... one gadget "does it all" to keep life simple on RV trips.
