Boliy generator?

Please don't beat a horse to death. They end up stinking and no one wants to get near it.

Over the past year you have done your due diligence, received the answers & still without resolve.

Solar, or generator ? :?

Sorry, but both horses have been beaten to the point that they should have been buried by now. :h

Well, when all the other posts on rv.net are positive, and the amazon reviews say they used to have quality and cust service problems but not anymore, then, yes, I want to know. I respect Pianotuna a lot. If the lone dissenting voice was a stranger to me, I might not ask :).

Save up and buy right once, the first time, and save yourself a ton of wasted money and headaches. Especially with generator equipment.

I definitely don't want to waste $$ on junk. I also have a hard time spending more for a genny than I would for one car or 10 computers.

Thanks, Drew! I was going to look at it in a car, but your post makes me realise I should bring the van so I can make sure it starts the freezer ok. And maybe the microwave.

Yeah, I don't have an AC, but minifridge or freezer, and battery charging.

Where are you finding those? A search for title AND body, including archive, gave me 12 results. And they were all good nsws.

What do you want to power with a generator?

Drew, the ordinary homeowner rotary power mower pretty much "eliminates the flywheel." It's there, but too light to start the mower with nothing on the other end of the crankshaft. It provides the ignition magnets, cooling fan, and no doubt some flywheel effect along with probably some balancing. But it needs the blade to even get running. If you want to run it with say a belt drive and only a pulley, the engine builders sell "heavy flywheel" versions.

Boliy... I was impressed when they came out and early reviews were good. Nearly everybody soon seemed to go sour on them. Think I'd avoid.
