My 93 pace arrow has the transfer switch in the left rear compartment. The shore power cable runs directly into the transfer switch as well as the generator and inverter feed.
The transfer switch on mine just looks like a big black box. I have 50 amp service so the transfer switch is rather large. It has a cover that secured with a number of screws.
Any time I plug in the shore power cable to ANY power source I can hear the click of the relay(s) kicking in.
