Just went thru some of this as I pulled the stool and replaced it with a porta-potty(not many dump stations in Colombia and Ecuador) so had to rework the water line. The threads on PEX compression fittings are 1/2" pipe so almost anything can be made to fit. Don' try to to pull those compression fittings as they are really tough to work particularly in tight places. A plastic pipe cutter is about $15 and the Sharkbite fittings just slide on. I used the braided faucet hose for my purposes of having a water pipe to feed the p-p tank. Of course this had to be done inside the shore power compartment behind the shower.
