Brake and bearing service

Is $250 a fair price to service brakes and repack bearings on a dual axle trailer?
This is the quote from the guy that used to work for a trailer dealer so i am assuming it will be done properly.

This is the 3rd year of my ownership and it hasn't been done. Not sure when/if the previous owner had it done.
I could try it myself but this would be my first time ever and i dont feel comfortable doing it.
  • Seems that i could get the whole hub assembly and brakes at $100 per wheel from etrailer.
  • I do it myself; its not rocket science. Having done it myself, I'd think that was a fair price for the work involved.

Be aware there may be parts of the braking and bearing systems that may need replacing (grease seals for sure), parts can add up pretty quickly. Total replacement of parts is about $100 per wheel.
