Brand new RV Should I sanitize fresh water lines / tank

I went up to Beaver Lake yesterday.
Beaver Creek campground has not opened this year. looks kind of bad as shrubs have grown up along access road.
Beth Lake is open but they have not fixed the interior roads. Sevral washouts that need help. Too rough for my rig!
