It has the variable voltage output, same as a solar controller's variable high voltage set point. I don't know how you would have two variable set-points such as for Absorb and Float like some controllers have except manually.
IMO the MPPT has no adjustments. It might for hunting cycle rate in really fancy ones I suppose, don't know. It is the buck converter in it that has the adjustables, as seen in these naked (calm yourself, Mex!) gizmos with their exposed CV and CC screws.(oops!)
I still don't understand what happens with these when they have a non-variable intake that becomes unstoppable output watts. When my Vector charger has controlled the output voltage so that amps taper, its output watts taper too of course. The input is 120v which is demand driven in a way.
But these are DC input. The sun is still shining on the panel. Why isn't input watts way higher than output watts? Watt happened to the extra watts?
