Inverter is irrelevant.
Or maybe CW expected you to run these sub panel items on inverter full time (transfer switch not used)
Apparently it has an internal transfer switch.
I assume it is hard wired. Is there a 120v input and output power cable attached?
What does the display say?
Any error codes?
