Bus Bars - 150A rated ok?

Have 500AH battery (LIFePO4) and a 3000 watt Samlex inverter. Wiring is all going through bus bars. I made an order to get new ones, received Blue Seas 4 post rated at 150 amps. I thought I had ordered rated at 250 amp. Question is, do I really need to go to 250 amp (return and re-order) - what's my risk? Real world high draw use is occasional microwave, coffee maker, etc.

Other question is, I originally had 4x100 AH batteries all wired with 00 gauge welding wire. To add the new 5th one (bought within a few months of the others), I have some spare 0000 wire to make the cable (all wiring from batteries to bus bar is same length), ok to use or do I really need to find some 00 to make everything uniform?

    Assuming you're referring to the currents, I'd guess that the solar setup is supplying somewhere around 40A during these tests (when the inverter is running). At night they're probably much closer to identical.

    The remote connects to the inveter, where as the cpu reads the shunt along with other items wired to it.

    So I'm guessing it sees the conversion lose/ drop being wired after the cpu?

    Looks like your Magnum display reads higher, consistently. Shouldn't they be the same?

    I can see what going on with my system and it might not be professional equipment but for forum purpose probably close enough. I see what what my LFP batteries are doing off their own display from the CPU and can see what the Magnum Inverter is showing from the remote display.

    So my question is do you figure wattage draw from the batteries (during the load draw) or from Inverter (during the load draw)? In the image below are 3 actual samples of 2,800+ wattage draws figured from the Magnum remote display, less if figuring from the LFP display (voltage x amps = wattage). Which makes senses being the 12v to 120v inverting.

    I don't follow.. all 5 batteries have the same internal resistance.. or are supposed to. No one is disputing the difference in resistance of 00 vs 0000, I'm just questioning the significance in this particular situation.

    If someone could calculate, for instance, the difference in amps arriving at the battery at 14v @20a charge @ 2ft of cable, that would be cool.

    It does seem low until you compare with the battery internal resistance. If the cable adds 10% to the battery internal resistance compared to the battery next to it in parallel then the charge becomes unbalanced.

    0000 cable is .049 ohm/1000ft, or .000049 per foot.
    00 is .078/1000ft, or .000078 per foot.

    Those both seem like negligible amounts to me, especially since the wire runs are so short. I'm not smart enough to calculate the actual difference in voltage or amps arriving at the battery. Perhaps someone could.

    Woah - I don't plan to do each battery individually, not sure how that floated up... I have a full time job already ;)
    My batteries are all individually wired to the bus, where they take their charge (either from solar when camping or charger when at home), no paralleling, etc. That's why I was asking if there was any significant impact of having different wire gauge for the 5th battery.

I can see what going on with my system and it might not be professional equipment but for forum purpose probably close enough. I see what what my LFP batteries are doing off their own display from the CPU and can see what the Magnum Inverter is showing from the remote display.

So my question is do you figure wattage draw from the batteries (during the load draw) or from Inverter (during the load draw)? In the image below are 3 actual samples of 2,800+ wattage draws figured from the Magnum remote display, less if figuring from the LFP display (voltage x amps = wattage). Which makes senses being the 12v to 120v inverting.

I don't follow.. all 5 batteries have the same internal resistance.. or are supposed to. No one is disputing the difference in resistance of 00 vs 0000, I'm just questioning the significance in this particular situation.
