  • 3000 watts? 4/0 would be minimum and could prove small at longer distance.

What does the manual call for?
  • Well, I'm in the 4/0 camp. The Super Excelene is ultra-flexible and around 4-4.59/ft if you look around. Buy the best and cry only once

Keep in mind the 4/0 (0000) size cables is 0.46 inch diameter. This is hugh and very heavy and very hard to bend and dress up...

2/0 (00) cable size is 0.36 inches in diameter

2AWG size cable is 0.25 inches in diameter...
4AWG size cable is 0.20 inches in diameter...

I am bringing this up as alot of folks may get the 4/0 and 2/0 sizes mixed up with the smaller 4AWG/2AWG sizes that most of us use for our battery system setups... Big differences between the two sizes of cable

I have the 4AWG and 2AWG size cables and use the BLUE SEA High AMP FUSE ASSYs that look like this... This works out great for me looking for 150AMPS or so 12VDC current cable protection fuses.

I suspect the 4/0 (0000) size cables would require an even larger FUSE BLOCK assy...

  • I think Two aught aka 2/0 is large enough, it will easily carry the microwave alone, and no problem with the load share for the generator or the 125 amps charge,
Although if the 4/0 at a good price is really can't hurt

    Don
Its ,"load share" , he can run the A/C from a smaller generator
The inverter will switch from charge to invert to add boost power to the 120 to start the compressor, then switch back to charge mode after the A/C compressor starts
  • I think you are going overboard with planning on running the AC
