I just got a new trailer life 7" monitor and camera. The left is on the right and the right is on the left. The sides are actually swapped and it confusing to day the least. I tried using the mirror feature with no success. I think I'm doing it wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

This may sound stupid, but is the camera mounted up-side down?
Depending on the camera and monitor will depend on where you do the mirror. If you have the jumper to cut on the camera only cut that jumper. Leave the monitor on normal. If the option is only on the monitor then change that one. Monitor may also not be saving the option. What make and model is your camera and monitor?
