cannesdo, I feel your pain. You cant start a thread sometimes without someone wanting to argue that you aren't doing it right. Its like they feel threatened that someone thought of a better way than they did to do something even tho they have no idea of your individual circumstances. If they want to tout their own idea, then they should Start Their Own Thread.
Now that said, permit me a slight diversion OT to comment to MEXICOWANDERER. Sir, toss some diatomaceous earth around the fireant mound. When they shift the nest, do it again. Its death to them and perfectly safe for mammals (other than maybe getting constipated if you eat too much of it).
