I know exactly what that feels like. I went through all of the visual inspection, terminal cleaning, igniter adjustment etc. I then bought a new igniter but no luck so it had to be the card but I chose to buy a whole WH on ebay for $350. Been fine and I have a new tank and valve. Mine was a 2000 so I figured it had done it's duty to God and RV'ing.
