Mine runs fine on the house outlet. IF you pull more than the breaker is designed to give. It will trip, and every thing on that circuit will stop. A 20 amp breaker will not send you more than 20 amps, and if you ask it to. It will trip. Just like at the CG when my TT pulls more than 30 amps. the pole breaker will trip.
I would check your AC. It appears your problem is not with the current from the house, but inside the AC. An AC pulls the most amps at start up. Once it starts, and is running. It pulls less.
