Is there a transfer switch with low voltage cutout between the shore cord and the interior electrical? Because that sure sounds like what's going on here. Low voltage due to long wire run causes transfer switch to cutout. Voltage rises to acceptable level once AC is off and transfer switch kicks in again, only to draw voltage down to unacceptable level and shut off AC.

Just sayin!
