Is there a transfer switch with low voltage cutout between the shore cord and the interior electrical? Because that sure sounds like what's going on here. Low voltage due to long wire run causes transfer switch to cutout. Voltage rises to acceptable level once AC is off and transfer switch kicks in again, only to draw voltage down to unacceptable level and shut off AC.
Just sayin!
As I stated, he has a small inexpensive trailer, no transfer box. Also, he needs to state and from my knowledge of small Cruisers, he has a ceiling mount AC control system with mechanical tstat and fan knobs---NO TIME DELAY for the compressor. The fact as I stated both fan and Compressor shut down, he needs the 120 system completely checked out, including the 120 feed to the AC in the ceiling. There is NOTHING in the roof mount control type AC system, that will shut down the comp/fan for 1 minute and then resume. I suspect a burnt wire nut. Doug
