Can't run A/C at home: solved -- see 8/21/16 update

Now comes the knowing a little part. Am going to run a 30 amp dedicated circuit to the rear of my garage, throw the hockey puck away, get another nice adapter, and drink a beer when done. I would not tear into the ac unit as if it runs fine on a dedicated shore power at a cg, it's probably fine. If you can you should run one also. That way no worries.
