I did the capacity test on Thursday, and it seems to have gone quite well. It's perhaps not the most scientific way of doing one, but I did do some cross checking to try and verify the load as well as bank capacity.
I used a variety of loads, including 60w, 13w, 10w, and 7w bulbs, and a boom box radio. The load stayed constant for the most part, but once in a while the load would jump up, so I'd quickly turn on/off a few things to get it back to where it should be. According to the Trimetric, it was in the 12.5-12.7a range, mostly, but other readings/calculations seem to have it right around that 21.5a load I was shooting for.
I took readings every 15 minutes; Amp Draw, Vbatt, and Amp Hours used. I also took SG readings before the test, and every 2 1/2hrs during, in hopes that they would give me a baseline for 100%, 87.5%, 75%, 62.5%, and 50% SOC. And I had the Killawatt plugged into the Inverter, in order to have another load indicator.
I will post the various results in separate posts.
