Uh who actually cares about capacity below 50% ?
Sort of like determining gas mileage at 110 mph
The BCI test is great for OEM to qualify 20-hour verification standards but it ain't 1954 no more. Do yourself and others a favor by measuring amp hour capacity at a more realistic 10-ampere discharge until specific gravity reaches 50% SOC.
Such would make comparitive analysis useful for determining the difference when the battery was new versus when the battery reaches 100-cycles in age.
CCA ratings are useful. The 20-hour test is too specialized a target to make sense these days. If you wish to test durability perform destructive discharge cycle tests.
