BFL,
It has occurred to me, it could be a simple matter of how the Trimetric interprets the info one enters into it. For example, I can put in 430Ah as the bank's capacity, but not 215Ah. And then there are those parameters like amps at a particular Vabs, that constitute 'full'. Even the Trimetric is guess-timating to a degree, it seems.
Its Ah countdown appears to be very accurate, but when it comes to Ah's replaced, its accuracy seems to change, based on depth of cycle. And seeing as I will not be doing identical cycles daily, it may be difficult to choose an appropriate % of loss? But, hopefully with time and practice, I'll get a better hold on things.
I do not set the three things. I don't like they way they treat full as being less than true full. I just get AH, volts, and amps. So no % full reading. I compare the AH count SOC with the "morning voltage" to see if they "match" for SOC
I know the bank capacity roughly, so I can get the % if I want it from the AH. On a good sunny day, when AHs get back to zero and then go over to plus something, I reset to zero at sundown.
I could do the adjustment for that but not worth the bother to me the way I use it.
