In the features section for that GT Power meter it says, "Function: Prevent peak currents damaging battery, motor control, motors, wiring and connectors"
Is that suggesting it will stop the initial current spike when charging first begins?
I'm thinking back to the problem I had with the Turnigy 1080w, and how that initial current spike throws it into protection mode (I think it's the "fold back" method of protection?). Anyway, Something that would buffer that initial spike would be very useful... even just for everyday charging. For instance, even on a near full bank, the pm4b-45 starts out at near full amperage, and then quickly tapers to whatever the bank would normally accept at the given soc.
