Carrier air v to advent a/c w/ harness

The carrier died, just not cooling well. Research shows the advent will work fine with the carrier ceiling panel and remote wireless thermostat with the wiring adaptor.
In removing the carrier ( a 15k heat pump unit) a 2 wire sensor traced down from the unit into the circuit board with a connector to a jumper to a other connector to a led light.
As they are wired into the Carrier roof unit and no provision is given in the conversion instructions with the advent a/c I assume that wiring was for heaT hump operation temp sensors in the Carrier.
I am ready to plug in but hesitate as advent and etrailer.com do not address this
Advent is 13.5k a/c not a heatpump
Help please? Max

I did a carrier A/C to Advent conversion There is one of the plugs that has to be changed (Poor Service Tech did not know how to install the Snap in socket.... Of course I did (I'm electronics trained).

Alas. the only "Senor" i know of in the Carrier is the frost sensor that you poke into the Evap coil... and of course the little Room temp senor that's mounted on the board (you don't plug it in it sticks out a hole in the cover)

Did not do a heat pump.. So don't know where it goes.
  • Problem solved, it is a temp sensor stuck into the evaporator coil fins. So just leave it plugged into the board and stick it into the advent evap. Fins.
