I'm sure your hitch will safely carry the scooter. That's from a mechanical standpoint, but ....
The 26HE is 27'1" long with a 158" wheelbase. That's a ratio of around 48%. A Class C would never get away with that, so I can only figure the F-53 chassis is a little stiffer. Still, by the time you get Scooter, Batteries, and Carrier, you're putting 300+ pounds out beyond a very long rear overhang. Again, with a Class C, you'd feel that on the road. By that I mean in handling, things like tracking and staying in lane. What happens is the weight way back there has enough leverage that it loads the rear axle by its weight times a leverage factor, and unloads the front axle to a degree as well. Will it make driving unpleasant? I don't know. Some have added a front hitch to carry things like a scooter. I don't know how that would work out on F-53.
