I read this a lot on this forum, and I have to say this has not been my experience as a full-timer. In the DC area I've been running two 1,500 watt space heaters on nights that have gotten into single digits and never had my plumbing freeze up. I have 40 AMPS at the pole, so I do run a small 500 watt space heater in the holding tank access compartment that is adjacent to my fresh water tank along with black and grey tanks on a 20 AMP outlet inside the electric box aside from the 30 AMP to my coach.
For a full-timer like me propane is expensive and a hassle.
