Those window seals, etc. will start showing some minor cracking, especially at the bends, in as little as two years sometimes.
That does NOT necessarily mean that anything needs to be done right away to "reseal" the strips.
Get a bright light and put on your strong reading glasses and do an inspection to see how deep the cracks ARE. If they are small and seem to be present only in the exposed part of the seal......you probably would be better off just putting some "protectant" on the seal instead of trying to completely re-seal it.
The most commonly promoted sealers really aren't that good; hopefully someone can tell us what the good ones are.
Built in Aug 2011 as a "2012" model, so I'd say it's 4 years old. I'll give it a more thorough inspection with a fine tuned comb before the rainy season. It's going to be 105F today, too hot still.
