I went to a big box store and purchased the caulking tubes of urethane roofing adhesive out of the roofing department. Use blue tape on the window frames and on the body. Lay a thin but large enough bead across the top of the window and down the sides. Using a damp gloved finger smooth the urethane and then strip the tape immediately. It is a clean and permanent fix for your window and door frames. If you need to replace a complete window years down the road the urethane cleans off pretty easy after the window is out.
