Caulking for reinstallation of window frame on 5er

I had one of the back windows break on my 5er. I got the window frame out and had a piece of Lexan put in the frame. I need to reinstall the frame. When I pulled the frame out it was sealed with so...

Agree and just make sure it's actually Butyl tape since they also sell non Butyl "putty" tape which will dry out and crack and not seal near as well as real Butyl tape.

I think the "Kool Patch" brand tape is about the best for flexibility and "stickyness".
