champion 2000i bought at costco.
My brother has the above and recently it began to run rough when in high mode. seems like it is cycling between high mode and economy mode. any ideas on what the problem could be.

Drain carb bowl, clean jet.
Use fresh gas with Seafoam.
Current "blend" of Ethanol works OK in cars, usually see regular/frequent use.
However, often Generators sit with little or no use.
If you can get regular gas w/o ethanol in your area - use it.
Call Champion Tech line.
BTW - Besides the yellow ones.....
