That is a sweet price and worth every penny, I pulled the string last April on our Champion and have zero regrets. No issues with our remote start Champion 3100 running our 13.5K AC unit and have done so at over 8K' in elevation. Although it ran fine out of the box at over 5.5K' elevation where we live, I called Champion as they state in their manual that a high elevation jet should be used for elevations above 4.5K', they quickly shipped out the new jet which was pretty easy to swap out.
We cold camp plenty and run a couple of space heaters for a few of hours before calling it a night, one set on high, the other set on low, which is well over 2KW demand and it has no issue doing so, even on eco-mode. At least in our case, when powering these substantial loads at high elevations it doesn't sound like it's laboring to do so in the slightest, I'm thoroughly impressed and that's coming from someone who has an Onan onboard which easily powers our entire rig as if plugged into shorepower.
