The Champion 3100 inverter generator produced more inrush current than a Honda EU3000iS and a paralleled pair of Honda EU2000i's. In simple terms this means a Champion 3100 will start some RV a/c units that a paralleled pair of Honda EU2000i's and/or Honda EU3000iS cannot.
Assuming a Champion 3100 is in proper working condition (i.e., no problems with the carb servo), there are very, very few RV a/c units it cannot start (and, of course, run)---to include both 13.5k and 15k units.
Yes, agree, a paralleled pair of Honda EU2000i's produce more continuous or "surge" output than a Champion 3100, but if it cannot start the a/c unit to begin with (due to a lack of inrush current), it's kinda moot.
