Champion 2k in storage for three years. Advice starting it?

Hey guys. My Champion 2k has been sitting in storage for three years or so. It has gas in the tank and likely gas in the carb. I haven't tried to start it yet. Before I do, I'd like your advice on wha...

As stupid as it sounds, when all the gas is drained, turn the unit s-l-o-w-l-y end over end and also sideways. Having a bit of oil spread around will help a lot for longer life.
