Be sure to turn the economy switch off when running the AC. Failing to to so can damage your generator. (happened to my neihbor)It probably isn't very good for your AC unit either. The owners manual for my Yamahas highly recommend shutting off the econo switch when operating high load devices I am sure it is the same for the Champion.
