Champion 75531i 3100 watt inverter gen feedback yea or nay

Ok I was just about to buy the 4000 w Champion for $ 500.00 when I saw this Champion inverter gen set for $999.99. It is the 75531i and it is an inverter generator, lite weight and has 3100 peak watts. I will be using it when BLM camping in my 26 ft TT. The AC unit has a 13,500 that according to my owners manual needs 16 amps at 120V at start up to run or 1,920 watts, so I should be ok with 3100 on the gen set.
I am looking for feed back from any one who has one. I dont want to get into the buy red or blue as the watts I want are out of my budget.

    Well found out from Amamzon, they wont ship this unit until the 15th of May which messes up a trip I have planned, so instead I bought tow Champion 2000 w inverters with the parallel kit. Total cost with shipping and the parallel kit was $ 1,264.00
    They will be delevered this Tuesday.

    That's a much better choice than the construction unit you were looking at.

    Now for the bad news: It will be able to run the air, but it may struggle to start it. We'll find out I'm sure. And running air on one generator can get pretty noisy, even with that unit.

    Anyway, thanks for choosing that unit. Of course I'd suggest 2 Honda 2ks, but that will set you back another 850.

    Ok I will be the test subject. I just ordered one from Amazon for
    $ 998.00. It is not in stock yet so I will write a follow up review once it shows up. I could have got it in 3-4 days from APElectric.com but I have a Amazon Prime so no shipping or tax and Amazon is great to deal with.

    No one here has tried one yet.

    I have a 3500/4000 and someday would like a 3100 too but the best we have is someone that has a friend.....

    If you get one, you will have some very interested people paying attention.
